My former teacher friend and I decided to meet up, and I found a nearby Japanese restaurant. When we arrived, we noticed that the place was small, but there was a lot of activity with customers dining in and deliveries going out! It got me really excited to try everything on the menu. I ended up choosing the bento box, which included chicken katsu, salad, prawn, California roll, and soup. It was not only delicious but also quite affordable! My friend opted for the spicy chicken dish. The only downside was that they served the food in styrofoam containers instead of pretty utensils.
Excellent lunch option if you’re are hungry, everything was hot and fresh. Would highly recommend this place.
Tried Ichi Bento for the first time this weekend and I will be adding it to my go to list! Definition of top-tier, classic Seattle teriyaki. So comforting! Chicken teriyaki was flavorful and moist, tempura was crisp, miso soup was perfect. No notes.
Best bang for your buck teriyaki in the Seattle area. 15.99 for a chicken teriyaki bento box with rice, 4 piece California roll, 7 piece gyoza, salad, and miso soup. Great chicken katsu as well.
Feb.2025 Moved down to Everett. Come down here for lunch every time I bring my car in for servicing at Europa car Care. Quality food and fast couldn't believe how quick it came out . Even at 4:00 in the afternoon customer stream was steady. Phone was always ringing people were coming in for takeout. cook never had a chance to take a break. I love the misu soup on a cold day October 2023 Living by Canada, but come down to here to see our mechanic . Always come in for lunch when he's working on the car. Always a treat with beef bento. Place busy. Lots of orders for yakisoba. But I find beef tender and tempura perfect. With soup , California roll and salad, you can order tempura, gyozo or both, I got 4gyoza and two wonderful shrimp tempura. Yum Prices kept low because served in take out, which I would get anyway due to large portion April 2023 Been coming here for years. Got the beef bento. Tempura perfect! Hot. Crispy. Tender. Fresh. Miso soup. Flavorful. Good for digestion. Salad. Cool. Crisp. Poppy dressing great taste. California roll. Fresh. Great bite. Beef. Tender. Lots of sauce. Rice right portion. Very happy. Again.
Ichi Bento consistently has the best Teriyaki in Seattle. Their chicken teriyaki always get a nice char on the outside that keeps it juicy and complements the sweetness and umami of their teriyaki sauce. They’ve been a part of the community for decades, and I hope they stay for many to come!
Amazing food and affordable combo! Delicious veggie & shrimp tempura. Cozy miso soup... Yummy Prawn Teriyaki, nostalgic teriyaki place type of salad and dressing. Diana and Eddie were very sweet. Generous business

This is my favourite bento place in Seattle. Portions are large, never feels over priced and of course it is delicious. Staff are friendly and great. I highly recommend giving this place a try.
